In a big capital city like London with a population almost as large as Thailand, the roads you see might all seem wide and pleasant. Today, Peyton & Charmed would like to present a surprising fact about London, which is that it has alleys and narrow walkways so narrow that even people can barely walk through!
🚶🏻♂️ 1. Brydges Place, West End
This alley, only 15 inches wide, connects two of London's busiest streets. For those who are claustrophobic, we recommend just taking a quick look and leaving, because the only way to walk through comfortably is to walk sideways the entire way.
🚶🏻♂️ 2. Crawford Passage, Clerkenwell
This famous walkway has yellow lines along the path that are only 5 centimeters apart at the curve. Although the walkway is easy to walk on, the humor of these yellow lines makes it a constant topic of conversation.
🚶🏻♂️ 3. Bengal Court, City of London
Although this alley is narrow, people can still pass through. But what needs to be mentioned, besides the alley's narrowness, is the dim lighting that makes the alley look too scary to walk through alone at night.

In the past, this sandwich alley, flanked by industrial buildings and shophouses, was open for passage. Although it's now gated off, you can still visit to see it.

Another walkway that's narrow and suitable for pedestrians only. So, if you're thinking of cycling through because the alley doesn't look too narrow, you're wrong!
